About Me

I'm Dylan Skinner, a student at UNC-Chapel Hill double majoring in journalism and sustainability. I grew up in Elm City, NC, and I love music, basketball, and the Earth. I'm pursuing a career in environmental communications in hopes of using storytelling to drive change. I've held positions at multiple publications and am interning with the NC DEQ this summer! My band, Wild Oak, recently dropped our first single and plays shows across the southeast!
